The Tal Law issue threatens the strength of the government coalition, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Thursday, Army Radio reported.

Speaking at the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, Liberman called for a "smart" solution that will create equal opportunities for all sectors.

Political factions have offered competing alternatives to Tal Law, which deals with ultra-Orthodox service in the IDF, after it was deemed unconstitutional on Tuesday by the high court.
