Livni: Those in favor of 'NGO-probe bill' are 'cowardly'

Speaking at a Knesset voting session on a proposed law which will establish committees that will investigate left-wing NGOs on Wednesday, opposition leader Tzipi Livni called the bill "cowardly."

"This is a cowardly act. What is happening here today will be the spark for the ones who do not accept the state of Israel," Livni said at the session. "This [law] will balance the delegitimization."

"Those who vote in favor of this law will become voters who vote against Israel. The evil spirits that have filled the Knesset are anti-democratic and violate the interests of the state of Israel."
