MK: Israel should follow int'l law if it wants to avoid ICC

MK Ahmed Tibi said Israel wouldn't have to worry about Palestinian threats to take it to the International Criminal Court if it respected international law, Army Radio reported.
In New York accompanying the Palestinian delegation at the United Nations General Assembly, Tibi said "Israel should not break international law. Whoever doesn't want to be judged should not do things that would prompt judgment."
Officials in Jerusalem have expressed concerns that the Palestinian Authority could take Israel to the International Criminal Court if its bid for statehood at the UN is successful.
