MKs pull bills to authorize West Bank outposts

Fearing legislative failure, MKs Zevulun Orlev (HaBayit HaYehudi) and MK Ya'acov Katz (National Union) pulled their private member bills to authorize West Bank outposts, which had been scheduled for a preliminary reading Wednesday.

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu asked them through Coalition Chairman Ze'ev Elkin to delay the initiatives.

The bills can only pass if Netanyahu allows ministers the freedom to vote according their conscience, a move which he has yet to do.
