Police suspect a 62-year-old woman was murdered during a burglary of her home on Wednesday in Nahariya.

The woman's body was discovered by a neighbor, after relatives became concerned and asked the neighbor to check on her. She was later named as Ester Hajijshwili.Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead.

Police believe that initial forensic evidence collected point to signs of a struggle, which may have erupted after during a burglary of the woman' home. Hajijwili's home was littered with objects that had been knocked to the floor.
