Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday attacked the Palestinian Authority for its unilateral bid for statehood at the United Nations, saying no international power could force Israel's hand on the issue.
"The UN decision won't change things on the ground," Netanyahu said. "It won't promote a Palestinian state - on the contrary, it will delay one."
He added: "It doesn't matter how many hands will be raised - there is not power in the world that will force Israel to compromise on its security."
