Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday spoke with Margalit Shilon, mother of the Cpt. Ziv Shilon, the IDF officer critically wounded by a bomb along the Gaza border on Tuesday.

In a message about the phone call posted on his Facebook page, Netanyahu wrote: "In the course of the conversation I wished Ziv a speedy recovery and told her: There is nothing that can compare to a mother's love for her son, and today the entire nation loves and embraces your child. We will do everything to assist his rehabilitation, and he will recover."
