The nurses' strike continued into its 16th day on Tuesday, in hospitals general health services and family health centers.

The Treasury and nurses were set to meet for continued negotiations at noon following reports of progress on Monday night.

Israel Radio reported that the an agreement between the sides included a 12 percent increase in nurses' wages. The main sticking point was the time frame within which the agreement would be implemented, according to Israel Radio.
