Obama to meet Peres about peace process; regional unrest

WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama will meet with President Shimon Peres at the White House on Tuesday for talks about the Middle East peace process and unrest in the region, the White House said on Thursday.

"The president looks forward to discussing with President Peres the full range of issues of common concern, including US-Israeli security cooperation, recent developments across the Middle East, and the pursuit of peace between Israel and its neighbors," the White House said in a statement.
