Israeli ambassador to the US Michael Oren said on Wednesday that the US is trying to convince its allies that a unilateral declaration of Palestinian statehood will bring conflict, not peace.

He told Israel Radio that Israel is trying to renew negotiations with the Palestinians to draft an agreement of two states for two nations.
