The non-profit organization Physicians for Human Rights - Israel (PHR-Israel) have released a statement in response to the US State Department's annual Trafficking in Persons Report.

The statement says that the report reinforces the grave failures of the Israeli government to fully address and defeat human trafficking.

PHR-Israel also said that they hope that Israel will provide more assistance to refugees and victims of human trafficking under renewed pressure from its most powerful ally.
