Palestinians arrested for throwing rocks at Temple Mount

Six Palestinians were arrested by police Sunday morning for throwing rocks at a Jewish group visiting the Temple Mount, as well as the officers protecting them.
According to Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, at 10 a.m., as part of the scheduled Passover pilgrimage attended by a Jewish and Christian group, the Palestinians targeted the Jewish group with rocks.
“The police immediately responded and arrested the six directly involved in the attack,” said Rosenfeld, who added that backup units were also present.
Rosenfeld said that despite the assault, no injuries were reported and the visit continued uninterrupted until the scheduled hour of 11 a.m., and reconvened from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. without incident.
