Peres meets Argentine interfaith delegation, praises harmonious relations

President Shimon Peres on Sunday told representatives of an Argentine interfaith goodwill delegation that leaders of all religions should stand up against the killing of innocent people because this is something which is against the Koran, against the Torah, and against the New Testament.
Peres said that someone once asked him what was the most important thing that he had ever done, and his reply was to save the life of a single child.
Peres said that terrorism is destroying communities throughout the Middle East and he believes that a call by leaders of all faiths or have some influence on those who believe in killing in the name of religion.
He said that Argentina is a symbol of the ability of Jews, Christians, and Muslims to live together in harmony.
