Police arrest convicted murderer for stolen credit card use

One of two people convicted for the murder of taxi driver Derek Rot was arrested late Tuesday night under suspicion that he used a stolen credit card to purchase food and toys, Army Radio reported.

Arbel Aloni, who is serving prison time, violated a prohibition on leaving a designated area for rehabilitation. Aloni, along with another individual, purchased the food and toys with a stolen credit card. Once the delivery of the purchased items was completed, the police, who had monitored the transaction, arrested him, according to the report.
