Police named Reuven Lavot as the 19-year-old who was killed after a driver ran him over outside a pub in Kibbutz Kfar Giladi in the Upper Galilee, Army Radio reported Saturday.

Shortly after the accident, the driver suspected of running over the youth arrived at the Kiryat Shmona police station, believed to be under the influence of alcohol.

He told police that he had been involved in a fight outside of the bar at Kfar Giladi and had accidentally hit the youth with his vehicle while fleeing.
