Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of slain Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, has been captured alive and uninjured, NBC reported on Saturday, quoting rebel sources.

Rebels told NBC that Saif al-Islam Gaddafi was captured along with former spokesman for the Gaddafi regime, Moussa Ibrahim, near Bani Walid and was being transported to Misrata.

The reports of the capture of Gaddafi's son could not be verified.
