Report: Two fired for atomic energy security breaches

Two workers in the atomic energy establishment have been fired for gravely compromising state secrets and security in two separate incidents, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.

The identities of the workers are censored.

In one of the incidents, an administrative disciplinary panel fired a senior mechanical engineer and prohibited him from holding any position in the state security establishment for five years, according to the report.

In the second incident, the worker was fired and there is an ongoing investigation against him.
