Rivlin slams appointment of Fierberg to head Carmel rehab

Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin on Tuesday criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's decision to appoint Netanya Mayor Miriam Fierberg as head of a team charged with ensuring that life for those harmed by the fire would return to normal “as soon as possible.”
"A situation has arisen in which the Knesset does almost no work on Tuesdays, when MKs are running errands and the ministers are probably too busy, and therefore we're forced to bring in Miriam Fierberg to handle the damages of the disaster," Rivlin stated.
