Roadside bomb kills seven US troops in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON - Seven US troops were killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan on Thursday, the Pentagon said, the worst single incident involving foreign troops in a month.

The NATO-led force had previously confirmed the deaths but declined to disclose the nationalities of those killed.
