If the flotilla to Gaza is not stopped, the next flotilla will contain long-range missiles that threaten Israel and the region, Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom warned on Wednesday.
Shalom made the comments at the laying of the foundation for the new "Soda Stream" factory in the Negev.
He called the flotilla a "provocation" and said even thought one flotilla may try to bring items "defined as humanitarian," another flotilla could "transfer weapons."
