Sudanese authorities arrest opposition leaders in Khartoum

Sudanese authorities have arrested opposition leader Hassan al-Turabi from his home Tuesday, after the Popular Congress Party head's threat to incite a popular revolution due to Khartoum's raising of staple food prices, al-Jazeera reported Tuesday.

In addition to Turabi, the Sudanese government arrested five others Tuesday on similar indictments.
