TA man indicted for sexually assaulting, injuring baby

The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office filed an indictment in the Tel Aviv District Court on Tuesday, charging a man in his 40s with committing sodomy and serious injury against his girlfriend's 18-month-old son.

Together with the indictment, the district attorney also filed a request that a court-imposed gag order on the case be lifted in order that the defendant's identity and details of the case can be released to the public. The district attorney also requested that the court remand the defendant, currently known only as N., in custody throughout the legal proceedings against him.
