A teachers union in Jerusalem will hold a strike Friday for one hour protesting two recent acts of violence carried out against instructors by students. During the hour, teachers will walk out of classrooms, Israel Radio reported.

In both incidents of violence, one in Givat Ze'ev, and one in Kiryat Menahem, the teachers required medical assistance. A union representative said that teachers need to struggle against violence in early childhood.
