The two Israelis who were stabbed in a terror attack on Route 60 in the West Bank on Wednesday were IDF soldiers, the army announced.

The IDF said the terrorist arrived at Sinjil Junction, where soldiers were carrying out routine security activities, and stabbed two security personnel.

In response, the unit shot dead the terrorist, the IDF added.
