Thousands join Ethiopian protests, closing Tel Aviv highway

Azrieli Interchange in downtown Tel Aviv was closed by protesters on Wednesday, as thousands joined Ethiopian Jews in protest of treatment by police.
The protest comes in light of the January 18th death of 24-year-old Yehuda Biadga in Bat Yam at the hands of police officers after he rushed at them, knife in hand.
Biadga, according to his family, was suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Ethiopian community in Israel took harshly to the police response, claiming his death was due to the color of his skin.
