Thousands of haredi school girls and approximately 150 haredi boys have arrived at the Western Wall on Monday morning to protest the monthly prayer service held by Women of the Wall.

The prayer group was cordoned off to the back of the Western Wall plaza, as police did not allow their entrance to the women's section of the Wall.Haredi men were shouting "gevalt" (Yiddish expression of shock and alarm) at the praying women in an attempt to drown out their prayer.
