US official: Obama picks Dartmouth's Kim to lead World Bank

WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama will nominate Dartmouth College president Jim Yong Kim to lead the World Bank, a senior administration official said on Friday.

The White House said Obama would make an announcement at 10:00 eastern time (1400 GMT.)
