Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich spoke out on Wednesday following the revelation that famous Israeli singer Eyal Golan was suspected of inappropriate conduct with minors. Golan was summoned by police for questioning earlier in the day.

Channel 10 quoted Yacimovich as saying: "Crossing my mind are difficult thoughts of exploitation, cynicism, heartlessness... the idea of childhood as an object for use..the brutish lack of awareness that this case is the exploitation of the weak. For those who can't decide who is the victim, just think of your daughter or any other woman close to your heart."

TA Police were continuing to investigate the matter.
