3 killed, 1 seriously hurt in collision near Shiloh

East Jerusalem resident and 2 Arab-Israelis from North killed in head-on collision near W. Bank settlement; 10-year-old child injured.

Three women were killed and a ten-year-old child was seriously injured in a head on collision between two vehicles on Route 60 near the West Bank settlement of Shiloh on Saturday.
MDA Paramedics treated the wounded on the scene and they were subsequently evacuated to Hadassa Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. A female east Jerusalem resident was pronounced dead at the scene while two Arab Israeli women from the North succumbed to their wounds at Hadassa Ein Kerem hospital. MDA stated that one of the women killed was in her forties.

The accident occurred when one of the vehicles swerved into the lane traveling the opposite direction, striking the second vehicle. Police opened an investigation into the cause of the incident.
Last Saturday, four people were killed in Haifa when a vehicle smashed into a cement wall, bursting into flames.
