A spokesman for Israel’s Interior Ministry told NBC that three of the five activists were denied entry for “security reasons” but did not elaborate on what those reasons were.
The ministers allegedly did not want to attend the event at the airport due to the long hours they would have to wait on the tarmac in the sun.
