In recent years we have come across quite a few laptops with dual screens, some more successful and some less so. The ZenBook Duo OLED 14, model UX8406, is a necessary evolution in the genre and provides a new era of accessibility with two integrated OLED screens with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a viewing resolution of 3K.

There is no doubt that the new laptop from ASUS comes with strong technical specifications, such that it will allow you to run any work software, with an emphasis on programmers and content creators. But what sets it apart is the structure of the two touch screens, which is made with a lot of thought, so that they allow you to use the mobile in several ways, effortlessly and regularly.

In fact, with the OLED screens, your workspace increases to 19.8 inches, with several different variations. You can choose to work on it as a normal laptop, meaning a physical keyboard and a screen, another option is to use one of the screens as a virtual keyboard. An option that I particularly liked is to use both screens at the same time, using a built-in stand on the back of the device and connecting the Asus ErgoSense bluetooth keyboard.

In addition there is a special sharing mode, all you have to do is lay the Zenbook DUO flat so that everyone can watch the screens without crowding. There is also a special desktop mode, which is suitable for those engaged in programming, research and writing, but not only. The mod allows you to display your productivity apps on one screen while the other displays reference materials, documentation or research sources.

As we mentioned, this model of the Zenbook DUO has no performance problem. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, and an Intel Arc Graphics card, which use AI to optimize and improve work processes. Alongside this, it comes with 2TB SSD storage, and 32GB RAM memory. In addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, Asus Zenbook DUO contains all the connections you need, in addition to the two extremely fast Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports.

The 75 watt-hour battery of Zenbook DUO lasts for a long time and allows you to be productive for up to 8 hours. And when it's time to charge, there's no need to slow down - in just 49 minutes you can reach a 60% charge level. The redesigned 75 watt-hour battery has an extended lifespan and is environmentally friendly, supporting up to 20% more charge cycles than the previous generation.

Other features of the laptop include an innovative camera setup and Asus artificial intelligence noise cancellation technology, with new algorithms that make your conference calls even more productive. Recommended price for the consumer is NIS 11,499.
