Amidst the security situation, "Green Cradle" events will take place throughout the Jordan Valley starting from February 15th. Naturally, this year's tours and activities will be conducted in a special format. The activities will include guided tours with prior registration and coordination with security forces, as well as various workshops in the Valley's communities, offering breathtaking blooming scenery.

This is a great opportunity to witness the desert dressed in green and the unique flowering landscapes spread throughout the Jordan Valley. This year's events will be held under the banner of national unity and in a different format from previous years. All tours will require prior registration, with a nominal fee of 10 shekels per participant, while residents from the south and north and families of active duty and reserve soldiers will be exempted from payment. In addition to the tours, workshops, performances, and activities for children will take place on Thursdays and Fridays (and some events on Saturdays) between February 15th and March 15th. The activities are organized by the Jordan Valley Regional Council in cooperation with the IDF, the Dmota Museum and Study Center, the Ofra Field School, and more.

In addition to tours, various unique workshops will be held, such as foraging for edible plants, medicinal plant gathering, natural materials crafting, photography workshops, and more.
