ADL: Rouhani's speech 'more of the same platitudes and denials'

Iranian President Rouhani's speech at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday was "more of the same platitudes and denials," the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said in a statement.
Rouhani's speech "fell well short of addressing in any serious way the harsh reality of Iran’s decades-long quest for nuclear weapons," ADL National Chair Barry Curtiss-Lusher and ADL National Director Abraham H. Foxman said.
ADL lamented the fact Rouhani's speech "no hint that any meaningful actions will be forthcoming soon," and called on the international community to keep up the strong sanctions against the Islamic Republic, as well as "continue to make clear that all options remain on the table so long as Iran continues to brazenly flout its international obligations."
