Ahmadinejad: 8 Iranians detained in US should be released

Washington should respond to Iran@@@s releasing of American hiker Sarah Shourd by releasing eight Iranians that are being held in the US, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in an ABC interview that was scheduled to be aired on Sunday.
When asked if the two Americans arrested together with Shourd who remain in Iranian custody will be released, Ahmadinejad said, "They violated the law, do you want violators to be released. Is that what you@@@re asking me?"
"It would not be misplaced to ask that the US government should take a humanitarian gesture to release the Iranians who were illegally arrested and detained here in the United States," Ahmadinejad said.
