Two men in their twenties died in a car accident on Highway 1 between Ma'ale Adumim and Mishor Adumim when a vehicle collided with three others on the road on Friday night.

MDA paramedics who arrived on the scene confirmed their deaths.

The incident reportedly occurred shortly before 1 a.m. A police spokesperson said that the driver had lost control of the vehicle.

Vehicles that were hit weren't moving

The vehicle collided with other cars that were idling on the road, Walla reported. A Ynet report stated that the three vehicles that were hit were, in fact, police cars.

Six additional people were taken to either Hadassah Hospital or Shaare Zedek in minor condition. Those injured include a border guard and two policemen in mild condition and another officer who is in serious condition.
