Celebrities asked to join Freedom flotilla 2

European athletes and celebrities are being asked to join Freedom Flotilla 2, which plans another run at the Gaza blockade in September, reported London-based Arabic newspaper al-Hayat Thursday.
World-cup winning Spanish soccer captain Iker Casillas and tennis star Rafael Nadal are two figures named as possible candidates by al-Hayat. Both figures protested against Operation Cast Lead in 2008.
"You will find it impossible to join people and laugh after you see what is happening in the Gaza Strip," Casillas said according to the Fars News Agency.
Al-Hayat said the flotilla organizers are in contact with a number of famous soccer players and hopes to convince them to join the flotilla.
