Court sends wife-killer to prison for 20 years

A man who murdered his wife in front of their 13-year-old daughter was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday. The Petah Tikva District Court said that Yoseph Mauda, 58, who was convicted of murdering spouse Marcel a year-and-a-half ago, won't serve a life term due to his mental condition. The Rishon Lezion resident stabbed his wife with a kitchen knife six times after she refused to have intercourse with him.
