Cyclists gather to protest ban of bikes on J'lem Light Rail

Thirty five bikers gathered on Friday afternoon in downtown Jerusalem despite stiff winds and forecasted rain, for the monthly Critical Mass, to protest the decision of the light rail not to allow bikes on the trains.
Transportation officials worry that the bikes will take space away from passengers, despite the fact that cities such as Barcelona with the same model light rail allow bikes on trains.
Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz has expressed his support for allowing the bikes on trains.
