Some 1,000 Palestinians rioted at 11 different points along the West Bank on Friday night. The rioters threw stone, set tires on fire and threw Molotov Cocktails at security forces.
Earlier in the evening, a riot broke out near Jenin, and shots were fired with no resulting injuries.
Security forces worked to restore order.
Meanwhile, referring to the two recaptured prisoners, the Islamic Jihad warned that "any harm to the lives of the prisoners is a call to war" against them.
