Egypt resumes gas supply to Jordan

Egypt renewed the flow of natural gas to Jordan on Tuesday, people familiar with the matter told Globes. Gas supplies were resumed at about 3 p.m., but it remained unclear when the gas would start flowing to Israel again, the sources said.
The flow of natural gas from Egypt to Israel and Jordan was stopped on February 5 following a terrorist attack on the gas pipeline near El-Arish in the Sinai. Since then, East Mediterranean Gas Company has informed its Israeli clients four times that the renewal of gas supplies was imminent, but it was delayed each time.
