Egyptian PM says unlikely Mubarak will hand over power

Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq said on Friday that it was unlikely Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak would hand presidential powers to his newly appointed deputy, Al Arabiya television reported.
"We need the president for legislative reasons," Al Arabiya quoted Shafiq as saying.
