Eini urges social workers to accept agreement, end strike

As the social workers' strike entered its 15th day on Sunday, Histadrut Labor Federation head Ofer Eini urged the strikers' leadership to accept an agreement put together with the Finance Ministry, Army Radio reported.
The Social Workers' Union met Sunday to decide whether to accept or reject the agreement.
Army Radio quoted Histadrut officials as saying they may stop supporting the social workers if they choose to reject the agreement and continue their strike.
Some 150 social workers demonstrated in front of the Histadrut building in Tel Aviv where the vote on the agreement was taking place, calling on their union's leadership to reject the proposed agreement.
