Former prisoner indicted for aiding Gaza terror group

A 32-year-old Palestinian Authority resident and former security prisoner asked for and received thousands of dollars in payment from a Gaza terror group in return for helping Hamas, according to an indictment filed in the Central District Court on Monday.
Ahmed Kadi, from the Palestinian Authority controlled town of Surif, 25 km from Hebron, allegedly asked for money from a designated terror group, the al-Noor prisoner society for former security prisoners, and agreed to help the group by transferring cash to other former prisoners.
Kadi stands charged with contacting a foreign agent, attempting to provide service to an illegal organization and carrying out a prohibited property transaction in reward for terrorist acts.
