German on trial for selling cameras to Iran

The trial of a German man charged with selling equipment to Iran that could allegedly be used to make nuclear weapons opened Friday with the defendant denying the charges. Prosecutors have charged 49-year-old Mohsen Vanaki with violating export and weapons laws for selling two high-speed cameras to Iran in early 2007. Prosecutors believe the cameras can be used to help make nuclear weapons. Vanaki called the charges "completely false."
