Histadrut announces resumption of railway operations

The Histadrut Labor Federation announced Saturday that trains will operate on schedule beginning Sunday at 6 a.m, regardless of whether or not a general strike which began Wednesday continues, Army Radio reported. Until now, rail travel had been one of the services interrupted by the strike over the employment status of contract workers.IDF soldiers will also be allowed to ride the trains.
