Frefighters, teams from the Jewish National Fund, Nature and Park Authority and the IDF tried to gain control over 18 fires that spread across areas adjacent to the Gaza Strip following the launch of incendiary balloons.
Fireman officer Shmulik Friedman gave an overview of similar events from the beginning of the summer and said that "we have learned from these past experiences."
