Islamic Jihad's Secretary-general said Monday that the organization will not pose any opposition to the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation agreement."If both rivals reach agreement, we will not oppose any step related to the government as long as our solid principles are not interfered with," Ramadan Abdullah Shallah said in an interview with the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency.Shallah lamented continuing differences of opinion between Fatah and Hamas which have prevented the implementation of the reconciliation deal."Each side has its defense and pretexts, but the loser is our people because its interests are being ignored and nobody is paying attention to the challenges occupation imposes, especially in Jerusalem," he said.
