Kadima: PM surrendered by freezing 'Bar Association Bill'

The Kadima spokesperson likened Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's decision to freeze the '"Bar Association Bill" to "waving a white flag," Army Radio reported Wednesday.

"Netanyahu waved a white flag when he understood that his face was uncovered and that [Justice Minister] Ya'akov Neeman no longer had his back," the Kadima spokesperson said. "[Neeman] couldn't hide Netanyahu's dangerous intention to meddle in the appointment of Israel's judges."

The largest opposition party said that while the case of the contentious "Bar Association Bill" may have been closed, the Israeli public ought to keep asking "who is Netanyahu, and what is the Likud."
