Knesset approves budget increase for borrowing study books

The Knesset approved a bill Wednesday for a program that will triple the budget for borrowing study books.
The bill was proposed by education minister Gideon Sa'ar.
The budget for the program was set to stand at NIS 5.5 million and will be implemented at the start of the next academic year.
Schools from all over Israel will take part in the initiative and parents will be able to purchase study books at a much lower price.
