Knesset c'tee votes to ban sale of alcohol after 10 p.m.

The Knesset Internal Affairs Committee voted on Tuesday to ban the sale of alcohol between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The committee has not yet decided precisely which establishments will be prohibited from selling alcohol. However, the MKs made clear that the prohibition will not apply to restaruants and pubs, where alcohol is sold to be consumed on the premises.
In addition to five private members' bills, the government has presented its own bill to restrict alcohol consumption. The committee now plans to consider all the proposals and merge them into one.
